Each year the department’s Annual Research Theme brings together colleagues working in different chronological periods and geographical regions to explore common themes.

This year, ‘Being Well; Being Ill; Experience and Materiality’ brings together historians who work on many different periods of history: from the medieval, through the early-modern and into the 20th century.
