On 9th of February, 2015, our Department hosted a special event in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Hiroshima bombing. Our Cold War experts, Dr Linda Risso, Dr Mara Oliva and Professor Patrick Major discussed the effects and the influence the tragic events of 6th August, 1945 had throughout the second half of the twentieth century.
