Part 2 History Links In: Special Careers Session for All Single and Joint Pt. 2 History students

Tuesday, 1 March, 1-2 pm, HUMSS G27

As part of the new Employability strand in the History BA Programme, this special session should now be on your timetables. Here are some further details.

You’ll be familiar with Facebook and Twitter as ways to reach out and connect with others, but what about LinkedIn? With 364 million members worldwide, LinkedIn is a great way to raise your profile and showcase your skills and experience to employers. More and more recruiters are turning to LinkedIn to find the employees of the future. Our ambition is for all Reading History students to develop their LinkedIn account well before graduating.

Led by History Careers Advisor, Sandhya Patel, this session will provide crucial advice on self-promotion and networking, including step-by-step advice on creating your professional LinkedIn profile. We look forward to seeing you there.
