The Department of History will be hosting ‘Congress to Campus’ event on Monday 29th February 2016.

 Congress to Campus is an initiative to bring US Congressmen to the UK, which is supported by the British Library’s Eccles Centre for American Studies. ‘Congress to Campus’ provides an opportunity to discuss issues of domestic and international importance with legislators and the Department will be welcoming 130 secondary school students, and their teachers, as well as university students and lecturers to the day’s events.

We are also delighted to announce that we will be joined by special guests Hon. Ken Kramer (Republican Representative for Colorado from 1979-86) and Hon. Larry LaRocco (Democratic Representative for Idaho from 1991-94).
